3 weeks out from RISE – Tickets still available

We’ve already seen startups from India, Hong Kong, Australia, the US and Singapore who will be exhibiting at RISE at the end of July. Now let’s take a look at some of who’s joining us from China.

This cloud-based smart energy platform is based in Shanghai. What is WeSmart? An IoT and smart energy social platform. They’re on a mission to provide high connectivity with meters and sensors, sublime dashboards, beautiful sharable reports and deep data analytics. This basically means companies can control their energy consumption and air quality in real-time.

nice allows users to add labels, stickers and screens to photos they share on social networks. It currently has close to 10 million registered users. Touted as “China’s Instagram”, nice has become the leading photo sharing app in mainland China. nice are on a mission to bring photos to life. Oh, and the app users are called nicers!

Omate’s vision is to connect the world through a wearable experience. How? By offering fashionable wearable devices at affordable prices. This wearables startup has already received a lot of attention by the likes of the NY Times. Based in Shenzhen, China, the concept was initially funded by a Kickstarter campaign. “Some smartwatches are just saying, ‘We’re putting a white strap on the watch and now it’s a smartwatch for women,”’ Mr. Le Pen, founder & CEO said in NY Times interview. “We had the feeling this was the wrong approach”. Interesting to see where this goes.
