Who will be Crowned Winner of PITCH hosted by Google for Work at RISE?
RISE will see a number of firsts, including the inaugural winner of PITCH hosted by Google for Work.
What’s up for grabs?

We are stoked that Google for Work are hosting the competition. They’ve contributed some fantastic prizes including US$100,000 worth of free credit for one year applicable to all Google Cloud Platform products.

How can you get involved?
We’ll be running a public vote on Day 1 where you can vote for your favourite pitch. All you need to do is mention the twitter handle of the company you think has the best pitch along with #RISEpitch. The company that receives the most votes will be one of the companies chosen to qualify for the semi-final.

When’s it all going down?
The first group of startups take to the PITCH stage at 09:15am on July 31. Only 8 companies will make it through to the semi-final taking place between 09:15 and 10:30am on August 1.

All roads lead to the PITCH final on Centre Stage at 11:40am. The top 3 companies from the qualifying rounds will get the amazing opportunity to pitch on Centre Stage. Each finalist will try to convince the final panel of judges that they should be crowned Winner. These judges include:
  • Ricky Japour, MD of Google Cloud Platform for Asia Pacific and Japan
  • Sonny Vu, CEO at Misfit
  • Jing Ulrich, MD & Vice Chairman of Asia Pacific at J.P. Morgan Chase
  • Kevin Prior, Global Head of Marketing for FbStart
