Andy Pan – VP – Ecosystems at DJI
Andy, VP of Ecosystems at DJI, oversees efforts to expand the potential of drone technology via partnerships and ecosystem development. DJI is the world’s largest consumer drone company, which is currently raising money at a $10 billion valuation. Prior to joining DJI, Andy held several leading roles at Tencent including WeChat hardware platform director, international regional director and product director.
Tim joined SurveyMonkey back in 2009 after six years at Google. His most recent role with Google was leading the Inside Sales and Sales Strategy & Operations teams for AdWords North America, so he has plenty of experience. Survey Monkey are huge – $1.2 Billion raised and 4 acquisitions to date. We can’t wait to hear from their COO & CFO in November.
Dun Xiao is a co-founder of 17zuoye, Chinese education startup 17zuoye who have raised $100M. A couple of months back, the platform announced that it has raised a series D round worth US$100 million. 17zuoye is an online learning platform for students K-12, as well as teachers and parents. The name means “homework together” in Chinese, and the site aims to serve as a nexus for all three groups to facilitate the educational experience, focusing on English and Math classes.
Coming from Limerick, John is one of the boy wonders of Irish technology globally. He stands out for his exuberance, talent and passion to blaze his own trail with Stripe. Stripe are growing and ramping up in terms of expansion and product innovation massively. He and his brother Patrick founded Stripe four years ago when he was studying physics at Harvard. With some code, Stripe lets app makers send and receive money to and from all kinds of places. John’s not doing too bad, seeing as Stripe recently got a reported valuation of $3.5 billion.
Nathan is Chief Marketing Officer at SoftLayer, an IBM company. Prior to joining SoftLayer, Huey directed message and brand strategy for SoftLayer at the advertising agency Belmont Icehouse, directed creative teams at Kolar Advertising, and developed marketing and advertising campaigns at firms including McCann Erickson-Southwest. SoftLayer provides cloud infrastructure as a service from a growing number of data centers and network points of presence around the world.
